Publishing House Temida 2

The Publishing House was established in 1993 as a Publishing House of the Association of the Law Faculty Alumni. Since the very beginning the House’s main goal is to publish different types of scientific publications and the major emphasis is put on the popularization of the work of the Law Faculty’s employees. In addition, we cooperate with prominent scholars from other Polish Universities such as Jagiellonian University, Silesian University, University of Lublin, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and many others.
At the moment Temida 2 is one of the most important legal publishing houses in Poland and it is known also abroad as we have published the work of outstanding scientists in the fields of criminal law and criminology. Prof. Adam Jamróz translated the work of Marcel Morabito and Daniel Bourmaud “Constitutional and political history of France 1789-1958” and Temida 2 is the only publishing house in Central Europe entitled by the Montchrestein to translate and distribute the book. We have also published the work of several scholars in theoretical science from France, Germany, Holland, USA, Russia and many others. Annually Temida 2 publishes around 20 positions mostly in the fields of law, administration, philosophy, theoretical science and history.
As a co-author of Temida 2, Jerzy Banasiuk has been our Editor-in-Chief since the very beginning. He is also responsible for the graphics and technical issues of the published positions.
Temida 2 products are available at the Universities as well as in the good bookstores around Poland.
